Chhattisgarh: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has sanctioned an amount of Rs 25 lakh to all 28 districts for prevention of infection of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the state.
Total 7 crores have been released from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to all the districts. This amount will be spent on the necessary resources, materials and relief work to prevent corona infection throughout the state.
Earlier Chief Minister Baghel had released an amount of Rs 20 lakh to 11 districts of the state. This included Korba, Bilaspur, Raipur, Durg, Raigad, Balodabazar, Rajnandgaon, Balrampur, Mungeli, Koriya and Kabirdham districts. This time cm has released an amount of 25 lakh rupees to all 28 districts of the state.
Currently, Chhattisgarh has reported 36 covid19 cases so far in which 25 has been already cured and discharged. Chhattisgarh is believed to be one of the state who proactively participated in curbing coronavirus all across the country henceforth, being praised nationwide. Registering no fatalities and 81% of the districts are under green zone itself is an achievement for the state.
