New Delhi: The Congress has called for a meeting in the capital where it has invited all the state leaders for a discussion on the blueprint of the 2023 elections on Friday. CM Baghel would also visit the national capital to attend the meeting.

It is speculated that Baghel would fly to Bilaspur on February 25th, where he would be dedicating several infrastructures to the district. Tifra flyover, newly constructed Atal Bihari Vajpayee university are a few amongst those that will be dedicated. Baghel is also scheduled to address a gathering at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Shala Ground. Along with state leaders, leader of the Opposition of Rajya Sabha Mallikarajun Kharge, KPCC president D K Shivakumar, Opposition leaders in the Assembly and Council, Siddaramaiah and B K Hariprasad are expected to be part of the delegation.
The meeting is called after party members aggressively demand (RDPR) Minister KS Eshwarappa for his remarks over hoisting a saffron flag at the Red Fort. It is also speculated that the hijab issue and the party’s stand on the raging controversy will also be a part of the discussions
