Raipur: In a recent event, Mr Bhupesh Baghel, the Chief Minister, had an occasion when he inaugurated the Diamond Jubilee program of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Medical College in Raipur on September 9th at 11:30 a.m. During this event, he laid the foundation for a cutting-edge integrated hospital building with 700 beds, part of the Ambedkar Memorial Hospital. This new development is set to revolutionize healthcare in the region. Has been allocated a budget of Rs 325 crore.
The program was presided over by T.S. Singhdeo, who’s not the Deputy Chief Minister but also holds the Health and Family Welfare portfolio. Chief Minister Baghel also marked the inauguration of the “Chhattisgarh Inter Medical College Table Tennis Competition”. Commenced the “Diamond Jubilee Celebration” of this medical college.
With a commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel aims to make advanced medical facilities accessible to all state residents through this integrated hospital-building project. The new complex will prioritize comfort. Care by providing all essential amenities.
The 700-bed hospital will be located at Dr. Bhimrao Memorial Hospital in Raipur. It will span seven floors, including a basement, lower ground, and ground floor. Patients in the region will now have the opportunity to benefit from a range of healthcare services, making this hospital an important addition to the local healthcare scene. The hospital facility spans an area of 70,896 meters and has implemented advanced features, like a fire safety system, HVAC system and IBMS system.
