Raipur: Congress released the first list for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh elections on the first day of Navratri. The party has released a list of 144 candidates in MP and 30 for Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has been made a candidate from Patan, whereas TS Singh Dev has been given a ticket from Ambikapur.
“Got blessings from Chhattisgarh Mahatari. Now the people of the area will also give blessings. The list of candidates for the Assembly elections 2023 has been released today, on the occasion of the first day of Navratri. Many best wishes to all the candidates”, tweeted CM Baghel.
After a long wait in Chhattisgarh, Congress released the list of candidates. In which names of 30 candidates have been announced. According to the list, 7 new faces have been given a chance. In the first list of Congress, Tamradhwaj Sahu has been given ticket from Durg Rural. Ravindra Choubey from Saja, Neelkant Chandravanshi from Pandariya, Mohammad Akbar from Kawardha, Yashoda Verma from Khairagarh, Harshita Swami Baghel from Dongargarh, Girish Dewangan from Rajnandgaon have got tickets.
