Agra: Abiding by the new guidelines issued by the Election Commission, political parties have decided to host a slew of promotional events to gather votes in their favour. CM Bhupesh Baghel is all set to address a gathering at Agra on January 28th. He will enumerate the terms of the ‘’Bharti Vidhan’, the party’s youth manifesto for Uttar Pradesh that was announced by the party chiefs. Baghel would depart to Agra from Bilaspur today evening to attend the gathering being held at ITC Mughal Resort.

The Congress leaders on the 21st of January released the party’s manifesto for the youth named ‘Bharti Vidhan’. Under its manifesto, the party has promised 20 lakh jobs, including 9 lakh jobs for women. It further informed the constitution of a job calendar in which the dates of recruitment, advertisement, examination, the appointment will be recorded. Besides, the 20-page manifesto stated that all the vacant posts of Sanskrit teachers, Urdu teachers, Anganwadi and Asha workers etc. will be filled if their party comes to power in Uttar Pradesh. The party promised to conduct a mass recruitment drive, underscoring, “Good education is most important for building the future.” Earlier, on January 16th CM Baghel was booked by the UP Police for holding door-to-door campaigning in Noida violating the norms set by EC. The case, lodged under the Epidemic Diseases Act, names ‘others’ also as accused besides the senior Congress leader from Chhattisgarh.
