Raipur: During a virtual function, CM Baghel from his residence office sanctioned a dedicated sum of Rs 460.14 crore to Surajpur and Korea districts of Chhattisgarh. He also laid the foundation stone of 368 new projects of Surajpur.
Out of the total amount sanctioned, Rs 184, 28, 75 crores are dedicated to 187 projects while the remaining Rs 275,85,39 crores are issued for 180 projects.
On request of Parliamentary Secretary Mati Ambika Singh dev and MLA Dr Vinay Jaiswal, Chief Minister directed the Collector to expedite the construction of District Hospital Building in Korea and Adventure Park at Chirmiri.
He also directed the Collector of Telaikchar-Kenapara in Surajpur district to invest in enhancement of the tourist spot.
He also announced construction of bridge over Banki river on Sarhari-Singra-Charampur route and establishing a cooperative bank branch at Odgi and Latori in Surajpur district on the demand of Parliamentary Secretary Parasnath Rajwade and School Education Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam.
Assembly Speaker Charan Das Mahant, who attended the event virtually, said, “chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has given a new impetus to the rural economy with his government’s schemes and programmes”.
Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey, Urban Administration Minister Dr Shiv Kumar Daharia, Sarguja Development Authority Vice Chairman and MLA Gulab Kamro, MLA Dr Vinay Jaiswal, Additional Chief Secretary Subrata Sahu were few amongst those who attended the event.
