Rajnandgaon: CM Bhupesh Baghel released the Congress manifesto for Chhattisgarh Assembly elections today in Rajnandgaon, in which the focus has been on farmers, youth and women. State in-charge Kumari Selja released the manifesto in Raipur. During this, Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria and senior MLA Satyanarayan Sharma were present.
In the manifesto, it has been announced to buy paddy at Rs 3200 per quintal, loan waiver of farmers, free education from KG to PG. Apart from this, Congress has also made a big announcement of providing houses to 17.5 lakh poor families. Congress commitments in Manifesto inlcudes:
- farmers loan waiver
- Paddy purchased at ₹3200 per quintal
- Bought 20 quintals of paddy per acre
- 200 units electricity free
- Free education from KG to PG in all government schools and colleges.
- ₹600 per bag of tendu leaves and also ₹400 annual bonus
- Landless will get ₹10000 per year
- Subsidy of ₹ 500 on gas cylinder
- Housing for 17.5 lakh poor families
- Additional ₹ 10 per kg will be available on MSP of minor forest produce.
- Now free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh
- free treatment on accidents
- Tivara will also be purchased at support price
- Taxes and loans of transport businessmen will be waived off
- 700 Ripa will be constructed
- Now all government schools will become Swami Atmanand schools
- Loans of self-help groups will also be waived off
- Caste census will be conducted and youth will get 50% subsidy in industry website.

Senior Congress leaders will issue the same in all divisional headquarters. Under this, Kumari Selja Raipur, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel Rajnandgaon, PCC President Deepak Baij Bastar, Deputy Chief Minister Singhdev Surguja, senior leaders Dr. Charan Das Mahant Bilaspur and Tamradhwaj Sahu will release the manifesto from Durg.
