Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel launched ‘Ram Path Se Ram Van’ from his residence in Raipur on Tuesday and flagged off two vehicles involved in it to Ramaram in Sukma district and Sitamarhi-Harchauka in Koriya district.
“Through ‘Ram Path Se Ram Van’, soil will be collected from major places involved in Lord Ram’s visit to Chhattisgarh, and plantation will be done at Mata Kaushalya Dham Chandkhuri, it’s last stop. Along with this, the stories and beliefs related to the Chhattisgarh Yatra of Lord Shriram will also be shared with the general public through FM channel”, read a part of a tweet posted by CM Baghel.
Earlier in April 2022, the Chhattisgarh government under the leadership of CM Baghel organized a grand inaugural event to mark the completion of the renovation and beautification work of the Shivrinarayan temple under the ambitious Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit. Through this, the devotees would be able to experience the spiritual memories related to Lord Rama from Harchouka in Sitamarhi to Ramaram in Sukma.
The ambitious project of ‘Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit’ aims to preserve the memories linked to Lord Ram’s stay in Chhattisgarh during his exile from Ayodhya. Nine key locations of the route of Lord Ram’s 14 years of exile, known as ‘Ram Van Gaman Path’ were identified last year for beautification work, said chief minister.
