Raipur: Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel on Monday issued a cheque of nearly 1 Lakh Rupees to 50 beneficiaries of the labour department. On the event of his 60th birthday, he launched the “Chief Minister Construction Workers Death and Divyang Sahatya Yojana” run by ‘Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Labor Department.

As per the state records, all prodigies of the beneficiaries registered under the Assistant Labour Commission’s Office Raipur, were granted the sanction.  Keeping up the tradition of the state, these heirs were also honored with a shawl, Shirpal.

The event witnessed Labor Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria. Chairman of Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board Sushil Sunny Agarwal, Secretary of Assistant labor Commissioner’s office and several other members of the board.

Last month, the Chhattisgarh govt launched the Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumihin Krishi Majdur Nyay Yojana, under which financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year will be granted to landless families of the state. The Baghel govt has always been determined to uplift the agricultural sector of the state and has taken initiatives for the welfare of the farmers and socially backward groups.
