Raipur: CM Bhupesh Baghel, on Monday, inaugurated a telescope at Sarna Ethnic Resort in Raipur. To promote tourism and ensure the development of tourist places in the district, the state Chief unveiled the same. Developed tourist spots will further crate new employment and boost the income of locals.
The new telescope was donated to the Deshdekha Tourism Women’s Self-Help Group by Chief Minister. As Deshdekha is one of the prominent tourist spots in Jashpur, 10 camping tents along with equipment were also provided to its tourist committee to kick-start the overnight camping facility for tourists.
Together with this, an MoU amounting to Rs. 10 Lakhs was also signed between a start-up, Jashpur Trippy Hills and Deshdekha Tourist Committee in the presence of CM. Further, a website named ‘Johar Jashpur’ was also launched at the event. The Jashpur tourism circuit is very well uploaded at this site to assist the tourists while they are looking for tourist places nearby. The website is designed in a way that it will provide a glimpse of all the tourist destinations in the district along with their accurate locations and routes.
