Raipur: Chhattisgarh Olympics started today in the state as Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel formally inaugurated the event at Balvir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Raipur. CM Baghel danced Bhanwara (Lattoo), played Bati (Kancha) and also tried his hand in Pitthul.

Chhattisgarh Olympics is being organized for the first time. It has games like Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Langdi Run, Billas, Bati. There will also be an attractive prize for the winners. CM Bgahel interacted with the Women’s Kabaddi team and served as a lineman for some time.
Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Umesh Patel said that CM Baghel’s vision to take forward the culture of Chhattisgarh has been visionary. Even villagers are excited about these games. The Chhattisgarh Olympics will start from Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club level and after this sports competition ill be organized at zonal level.
