Raipur: In an effort to support livelihoods, Chief Minister Mr Bhupesh Baghel is taking steps to transfer a substantial amount of Rs. 23.93 crores to the bank accounts of beneficiaries through the Godhan Nyay Yojana. Today, at the Chief minister’s office, in Raipur, a distribution program will be conducted, marking another milestone in the state’s dedication to assisting its citizens.
The disbursement encompasses allocations; Rs. 5.36 crore for cow dung sellers, Rs. 1.63 crore for Gaudhan societies, and Rs. 1.14 crore specifically earmarked for self-help groups. Moreover, self-help groups will receive Rs. 12.32 crore, while cooperative societies will be allocated Rs. 1.23 crore; chairpersons and members of self-gaudhan societies will also receive an honorarium of Rs. 2.25 crore as a token of appreciation for their contributions.
Up until now, Godhan Nyay Yojana has been instrumental in injecting a total of Rs.551.31 crore into beneficiaries’ accounts. With today’s disbursement of Rs.23.93 crore, the overall payments under this scheme will reach an impressive sum of Rs. 581.24 crore, which showcases the commitment of the state, to its citizen’s welfare and prosperity.
