Raipur: In the two-day Collector and SP Conference organized at the New Circuit House in Raipur, chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has expressed displeasure over slow action and has directed many actions. CM Baghel has directed to expedite action against chit fund companies after DGP Ashok Juneja briefed hum about the actions taken. CM Baghel was unsatisfied with the actions taken and further ordered to return the investor’s money back.

At the beginning of the Conference, CM Baghel reviewed the situation of crimes against women and further directed that the police must take strict action on crimes pertaining to women and children. He added that victims of crimes against scheduled castes and scheduled tribes should be provided money aid expeditiously.
CM also pointed out for a need of strict vigilance over the narcotics coming from neighbouring states and their smuggling. He directed Chhattisgarh Police to take strict action to root out the drug network. Later, CM Baghel inaugurated an exhibition of products made in Rural industrial Park (RIPA) and Gauthans of the state. The exhibition was organized by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department.
