Chhattisgarh: The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh will now be known as Dr. Bhupesh Baghel, as recently he has been awarded a Ph.D. Degree. The Hemchand Yadav University gave him this award, and the University also gave a Ph.D. to Usha Barle, a well-known Pandwani Singer and a Padma Shri Award winner.

This was the first convocation day of the University and also the eighth foundation day, which made the day special for Hemchand Yadav University. The Governor of Chhattisgarh was also connected with this conference through Video conferencing. The event occurred on Monday, 24 April, in the BIT (Bhilai Institute of Technology). 

13 Ph.D. degrees were provided, and 135 students received Gold medals during this ceremony. CM Baghel and Usha Barle were awarded a Ph.D. as they have been practicing art for more than 40 years, Contributing to society. CM Bhupesh Baghel also inaugurated the new auditorium of BIT.

The Governor of Chhattisgarh also addressed education and its importance on this occasion. Bhupesh Baghel addressed the ceremony and talked about the late Hemchand Yadav and his contributions to society.
