CM Baghel Asserts Chhattisgarh’s Contentment Under their Governance, Accuses BJP of Imitation During Hareli Tihar

Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel extends warm greetings and well wishes to the people of Chhattisgarh on the auspicious occasion of Hareli Tihar. In his message, CM Baghel emphasizes the rich cultural heritage of Chhattisgarh, which is prominently displayed during festivals like Hareli. Hareli holds particular significance as the first farming-related festival in the public life of Chhattisgarh. Alongside extending his wishes, CM Bhupesh Baghel takes a swipe at the BJP.

Targeting the BJP, CM Bhupesh Baghel highlights their lacklustre performance during their 15-year rule, contrasting it with the initiatives taken by the Congress. He emphasizes that under their governance, Chhattisgarh has witnessed prosperity and happiness, which the BJP is now attempting to emulate. He mentions instances of the BJP adopting elements from Chhattisgarh, such as featuring Chhattisgarh Mahtari in the programs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah’s reverence towards the Nandi bull.

The upcoming assembly elections in Chhattisgarh hold significant importance for the Congress, as the party aims to retain power and solidify alliances against the BJP in preparation for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
