Raipur: In his outreach programme, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday reached Shankargarh in Samri assembly and declared that an agriculture college will be opened in the region. During his visit, he inspected the Janpad Panchayat office and the Community Health Centre and gave necessary instructions. He thoroughly inspected the district office and the nutrition rehabilitation centre (Poshan Kendra) of the community health centre.
During interaction with the villagers, he learnt that electricity had not reached five of the Gram Panchayats in Jogipat. He immediately ordered that a power line be laid for the villagers there. Baghel also announced the construction of three roads and two culverts. He inspected the Community Health Centre and gave strict instructions to the doctors to prescribe generic medicines.
After completing the meet and greet campaign at Kusmi of Sari constituency, CM reached his second destination- Shankargarh, under the chief minister’s marathon tour of Chhattisgarh’s 90 constituencies. Baghel also made some significant announcements for the social welfare of Shankargarh to encourage the youth toward farming Baghel further said, “‘The five-gram panchayats of Jogapath have been living without electricity till now. Electricity supply will be arranged for these gram panchayats soon.”
