Raipur: Nandini 19 from Rajasthan has been crowned Femina Miss India 2023 as the Grand Finale event took place near Imphal. Nandini will now represent India at the Miss World contest. Meanwhile, Aditi Sharma who hails from Chhattisgarh’s capital city of Raipur, has secured fourth position. As she returned home on Sunday night, her family welcomed her with celebrations.
“I don’t think there is anything like nepotism in the field of modeling. Because where I went to the audition, no one asked my name, nor who did you come through. When I did a good job in the auditions, I got that role. According to my experience, nepotism is a myth. Your job just has to be good”, said Aditi Sharma.
Aditi has completed her schooling in Raipur and then moved to Noida to study law. Recently, two months ago she change her name from Aditi Sharma to Aditi Sandhya Sharma to add her mother’s name.
Femina Miss India was a star-studded evening that saw performances by former winners of the pageant; Sini Shetty, Rubal Shekhawat, Shinata Chauhan, Manasa Varanasi dressed in finely and exquisitely crafted lehengas.
