Rajim: A concerning situation has unfolded in Chhattisgarh’s Gariaband district, where a local school has been forcefully closed down by the community. Adding to the intensity, there are voices of discontent as protestors raise slogans against the administration’s negligence. The main issue revolves around Tarra, an established school that is facing a critical shortage of teachers.

On Tuesday morning, parents and members of the school management committee came together to take a step by locking the entrance of the government-run school located in Shankar Nagar Tarra.

Their collective action serves as a protest against the lack of teachers in the school. This serious situation has come to light due to an imbalance between the number of students and available teaching staff.

The school currently has 66 students but 5 instructors who are responsible for classes. This significant shortage has angered the villagers leading them to express their frustration through slogans directed towards the body. The educational journey for these learners is being disrupted, causing concern and agitation among the community.
