Chhattisgarh: According to information received from higher authorities, the Chhattisgarh government decided to extend the lockdown until April 26. Sources reveal collectors of all districts have been instructed to extend the lockdown by April 26.
As per the new guidelines issued for the extended lockdown, Banks can operate with limited employees. No public shall be allowed to visit the banks. Vegetable, and fruit shops will remain closed, however the vendors are permitted to sell across the streets.
Almost 24 districts of the state are currently under complete lockdown while 4 districts are ordered to follow night curfew.
Amidst the rapid increase in the fresh cases; Jashpur district Collector Mahadev Kavre issued an order extending the lockdown from 6 am on April 18 to 6 am on April 26. The lockdown in Chhattisgarh capital is extended until April 19
Chhattisgarh health statistics revealed 14,912 fresh cases, while 138 succumbed to death. 11,807 people have been discharged after hospital treatment. So far 3,86,529 patients have been discharged after treatment in the state. The death toll has reached 5,580 so far.
