Raipur: During an event held in Rajnandgaon as part of the election campaign for the Assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel made several important announcements in the presence of Mallikarjun Kharge, the national head of Congress.

Addressing the gathering, CM Bhupesh Baghel mentioned that they had gathered during a period of rainfall which brought joy and happiness to the people who earn their living in that region. He highlighted how Rajnandgaon is a land of liberation and home to folk artists representing the area’s traditions. He respected all the artists who have emerged from this region.

During his speech, Baghel emphasized the state’s stability and reliability of the ration card system. He assured everyone that no ration cards would be discarded, even when a new bride moves to her husband’s family. This ensures that essential commodities are provided smoothly to every family, including populations and those living in poverty, making it easier for them to access goods without complications.

Furthermore, Baghel announced an initiative to support farmers by pledging to purchase paddy from them at a rate of 20 quintals per acre. This move has benefits, for increasing their income and improving their living standards.

As the Chief Minister conveyed these messages, he embodied a spirit of unity and progress, fostering a sense of trust and community among the attendees. He looked forward to a prosperous future for the region under the Congress government’s leadership.
