Durg: The Police Department of the state has taken a huge step in support of its employees. A help desk was set up at Police Control Room Sector-6 Bhilai to provide information and aid to the policemen and their family members.
After this campaign emerged successfully the helpdesk determined to extend its services to the retired officials and their dependents, officials from the Digar Unit Branch, Battalion STF police headquarter personnel.
With vaccination and testing its prime motive, the help desk is also providing home services of medicines, rations, and hospital ambulances if required. In addition, medical counselling is being done through video calls on mobile.
So far more than 1300 policemen and other persons have benefited through the police help desk.
The team of the helpdesk is directed by Deputy Superintendent of Police Vijay Rajput. The team includes additional SP City Sanjay Dhruv, Chitra Verma, Nishant Pathak, Inspector Gaurav Pandey, G.L. Dadsena, In-charge and teams of Smritinagar outpost, Jewara Sirsa, Durg Kotwali, Bhilai Kotwali.
Principal Custodian R Raju, Custodian Prashant Shukla, Rajesh Singh, Narayan Kshatriya, Jitendra Deshmukh, Emn Chandrakar, Chandrabhan Chauhan, Jyoti Devangan (Nurse), Women Custodian Jyoti Yadav, Purnima Devangan, Ambulance incharge Doojram and Navneet along with Nishant Jain (Event Manager- Badhaai Ho India Event &Co.) also are a part of the drive.
