Raipur: The ordeal fo Coronavirus does not seem to end anytime soon. Presently, Chhattisgarh is the third worst state in terms of daily cases and deaths. Durg district of Chhattisgarh has registered a significant one-day rise of 1000 coronavirus positive cases.
The health care officials have delivered a message amid such a rise to warn the people against their laxative attitudes. The message read- “You are politely urged to listen to these appeals and implement what the doctors have said in your life “.The doctors appealed to the public to share this video message and support the entire administration in curbing the pandemic.
Chhattisgarh has recorded the highest number of 988 cases in Durg on Friday. The state health ministry reported 15,307 active patients in the state. This was followed by 689 corona patients in Raipur, 178 in Rajnandgaon, 113 in Bilaspur, 97 in Bemetara, 50 in Korba, 42 in Dhamtari. The fatality rate has spiked suddenly registering 9 deaths in Raipur and 7 in Durg.
According to the latest health department bulletin, 3 lakh 15 thousand 432 people have been cured of corona so far. A sample of 38,375 infected citizens has been collected.
Meanwhile, The Union Health Ministry on Friday rushed high-level multidisciplinary teams to Chhattisgarh to deal with an alarming spike in coronavirus cases in the state.
