Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly monsoon session on its fourth day witnessed continued ruckus after Keshakal MLA Santram Netam questioned the recruitment delays committed by the director of the horticulture department.
Issuing serious allegations over horticulture authorities, the MLA stated that the matter was grossly neglected despite several re-iterations. To this, Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey has announced the re-commencement of the recruitment process.
During the Zero hour, issues like pension schemes in the Women’s Child Development Department, Cow dung procurement, were raised by opposition leaders.
Earlier, BJP MLAs also raised slogans in the house alleging corruption in the paddy procurement policies of the state.
Senior BJP MLA Brijmohan Agarwal questioned the arrangements for Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Hospital during the session today. Responding to this, Health minister TS Singhdev informed the house that more than 3 crore patients were treated in the hospital under the Khurchand Baghel Swasth Sahayata Yojana and 49 patients have undergone open-heart surgery.
The opposition is ensuring to corner the party in power by raising slogans and allegations against the administration.
