Raipur: All ministers, MPs and MLAs of Chhattisgarh will take the holy dip in the Mahakumbh on February 13. Ahead of this grand spiritual event, Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh has sent formal invitees to all the lawmakers and parliamentarians from state to be part of this sacred occasion.
Dr. Raman Singh, in his letter, said the members of the Legislative Assembly and Parliament all must take advantage of Mahakumbh Snan (holy bath). During the course of this event, conducted at the holy confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers, he stressed that one could experience Sanatan democratic traditions through religious and cultural programs in Sanatan.
This spiritual endeavour is being added to by Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana who has also invited all members of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. The event is expected to become a more historical and culturally significant meeting of legislators and public representatives from both states.
Special Train Arrangements for Devotees
A special train will leave from Nagpur at 3 pm on February 8 for such travel facilities to the general public. The devotees will reach the holy site via this special service, named Nagpur-Danapur Kumbh Mela Special Train (Train No. 01203). The Danapur-Nagpur Kumbh Mela Special Train (Train No. 01204) will depart from Danapur on February 9 at 2:30 pm for the return journey.
This Mahakumbh will be a unique blend of politics, faith, and brotherhood. It will be a great occasion for thousands of devotees, political leaders, and public representatives to mingle and strengthen the closeness of communal brotherhood.
