Raipur: According to a government official, Chhattisgarh state will organise a “Hamar Tiranga” campaign at state schools from August 20 to August 30, 2022, to commemorate 75 years of independence.
The state Government official further stated that Bharathidasan, secretary of the School Education Department, had provided all collectors, district education officials, and district mission coordinators with comprehensive instructions on how to carry out the campaign.
According to Bharathidasan, several programmes will be held as part of the campaign in public, private, and government-aided schools using the name and emphasis of ‘Hamar Tiranga.’ “ It is aimed to develop a sense of patriotism and to tell the stories of martyrs and freedom fighters. It will make it easier to comprehend what freedom really means in the modern world,” he said.
The official continued, “authorities have been instructed to make arrangements in this regard that, as part of the campaign, the movie “Gandhi” will be shown for free to students in grades 11 and 12 in neighbouring theatres or digital classrooms.
The government official remarked that in addition to making the essential preparations, efforts should be made to promote the “Hamar Tiranga” programme widely, by strictly following the Corona protocol, and fostering a patriotic environment in the entire state.
