Raipur: The Chhattisgarh government offices will resume work with 100% staff strength across the state. As per the notice issued by the State General Administration at the Mahanadi Bhawan on 11 June, the Ministry Head of Department and other district offices are directed to operate with full attendance from 14 June, Monday onwards.
The officers are instructed to expedite all processes pending. The general public are also allowed entry into the government premises provided they follow COVID behaviour.
This development came after the state health authorities reported a declining COVID-19 curve

In the past few days, the Chhattisgarh government had capped the attendance at 50% with no entry to the general public. Following which the state health bulletin reported a striking rise of COVID-19 cases including the government offices.
After several officers of the state administration department tested positive for the virus, the premises were completely shut down and employees were directed to work from home.
Despite a decline in the COVID-19 curve, the employees have been directed to follow COVID protocols to avoid resurgence in the premises.

The total active caseload of the state stands at 15,932, while 2069 recuperated in the last 24 hours. The cumulative recuperations are recorded as 9,56,459. About 13,300 have succumbed to the virus since the outbreak.
