Raipur: From now on, all the grievances of Chhattisgarh farmers, including grievances related to paddy procurement, would be resolved immediately through dialing 112 service.
Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel has taken this decision in the larger interest of farmers in the state, giving instructions to include farmers’ grievances redressal service under dialing 112 service. Currently, emergency services are being provided under dial 112.
All the district collectors and SPs in the state have already been directed to ensure quick redressal of the complaints received from farmers via dialing 112.
Farmers of Chhattisgarh will get all the required information through the service, including entry of acreage, lack of acreage, any problem in paddy procurement, any sort of error in Girdawari, or even if they need any kind of financial assistance.
Every week, the Chief Secretary will be reviewing the complaints received from the farmers across the districts under the service and the actions taken to resolve them.
Notably, the government of Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Baghel has taken a number of consistent and vital steps to protect the farmers. The top priority for the Bhupesh government has always been the up-gradation of farming and the empowerment of the farmers.
Innovative schemes have been implemented in the state for the farmer welfare in this period of crisis, such as Suraji Gaon Yojana, Godhan Nyaya Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana.
