Chhattisgarh: On the directions of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, all district collectors have been permitted to use the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to prevent the spread in a discretionary manner.
CM Bhupesh Bagels Secretariat has issued an order to all collectors in the form of a letter. The letter states the permission granted to the Jeevandeep Committees to sanction from the CM Assistance Fund to upgrade the Health department of the state in rural areas to battle the novel virus.
In view of the notorious outbreak of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic at present in the state, district collectors are provided monetary support allocated by the Chief Minister’s Assistance Fund.
Chhattisgarh health department reported 14,912 fresh infections. The state has reported exhaustion of its health care facilities. Authorities report a shortage of oxygen supply and land to cremate the dead. Currently, the statistics reveal 1,24,303 active cases in the state. Only 12,240 recuperations were registered in the past 24 hours.
