Raipur: The upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Chhattisgarh on September 30 has generated a lot of excitement and curiosity. The Prime Minister is expected to land in Raipur, the capital city, via an aircraft and then head towards Bilaspur to attend an event. However, there is a development surrounding this visit; Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister, Bhupesh Baghel, is not included in the list of officials who will be receiving the Prime Minister.
Instead, the responsibility of giving a welcome on behalf of the state government falls on Amarjeet Bhagat, the Culture Minister. This decision has raised eyebrows and sparked speculation as it is unusual for the Chief Minister to be absent during high-profile visits.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Chhattisgarh will include his participation in the closing ceremony of Bharatiya Janata Party’s ‘Parivartan Yatras in Bilaspur city, which holds significance. According to his schedule, he will leave Delhi on September 30. Arrive in Raipur at 1:30 pm. From there, he will proceed to Bilaspur, continuing his engagements within the state.
Later in the afternoon, around 4:50 p.m., he is scheduled to come to Swami Vivekananda Airport in Raipur. From there, he will make his way back to New Delhi.
