Raipur: Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister, Bhupesh Baghel has been making announcements as the election year progresses. During a conference focusing on the role of the Revenue Department in developing and supporting farmers in the state CM Baghel made an important decision. He revealed that the position of Naib Tehsildar will now be upgraded to a post granting these officials the designation of Gazetted Officers.
During the conference, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel emphasized the role played by revenue officials during the Covid 19 crisis. He commended their efforts in providing assistance to citizens, which garnered recognition for Chhattisgarh at a level. The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude towards Junior Administrative Service officers and employees for their dedication and diverse responsibilities.
To highlight their commitment CM Baghel showcased an achievement; successfully reserving 1.5 lakh acres of land for village grazing areas (gauthans) across the state without any complaints. This accomplishment illustrates the work and passion of Junior Administrative Service officers and employees.
Moreover, the Chief Minister assured conference attendees that timely promotions would be granted to officers in response, to demands raised by members of the Junior Administrative Service Association.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel also expressed his appreciation, for the work done by revenue officials. Their commitment to service and diligent administration has enabled them to deliver caste certificates transfer documents and division certificates to people’s homes including those residing in remote areas, like Sukma district.
