Raipur: Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister, Bhupesh Baghel, recently had a meeting with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who serves as the General Secretary of Congress. They discussed topics during their conversation in New Delhi, covering both issues and state-specific politics. Additionally, they explored strategies for the future.
The political atmosphere in Chhattisgarh has been quite tense lately due to actions taken by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Amidst this turbulence, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and his predecessor Raman Singh have engaged in an exchange. They have openly accused each other of allegations and charges.
CM Bhupesh Baghel emphasized the actions taken by his administration against the Mahadev Satta App. He urged the ED to arrest Saurabh Chandrakar, the app’s operator who is believed to be residing. While a lookout notice has been issued for Chandrakar by the state government, Baghel alleges that the ED’s activities in Chhattisgarh are driven by motives rather than a genuine pursuit of justice. He raised concerns about whether state officers were being viewed through a lens and questioned their potential involvement in elections rather than their actual capabilities.
Furthermore, he suggested that the BJP may have orchestrated the ED’s involvement as a way to undermine opponents recognizing Vijay Baghel’s strength in Patan. According to Baghel, these actions are one piece of a political plan devised by the central government, which illustrates the complex and sometimes tumultuous nature of politics in the region.
