Bilaspur, having been recognized as one of the Smart Cities of India, can now boast of yet another first. In the latest survey related to the use of data and technology, Bilaspur has ranked 5th out of the Top Five Cities in the country. Likewise, in the aspects of team management and intra-organizational interconnectivity, Bilaspur stands out, shining with a whooping 95% score, out of which it becomes the country leader. This is followed by Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, with 85% putting the city in second place.
This has served as evidence that among the 100 smart cities in India, Bilaspur City has established itself in different positions of priority. The constructed Integrated Command and Control System has been acclaimed as a major achievement of Chhattisgarh, and the Central Library has come up with the country’s model.
These awards were said during the IMAF 2. 0 conference, which they convened in New Delhi on Thursday. Drawing from the ICCC Maturity Assessment Framework, the conference assembled Chief Executives of Smart Cities across the nation. In the event, the Quality Council of India undertook a critical self-assessment of the Many Smart Cities and their assessments, and Bilaspur appeared to have attained the best results.
The other key area that was presented during the announcement of the results included commendation for Bilaspur’s best practices in data and technology and the effective Command and Control Center. So Bilaspur’s achievement, in fact, says not only pride for the city but also pride place for the state of Chhattisgarh. The city’s accomplishments in using technology and data to enhance city functioning and collaboration become a template to be emulated.
Integrated Command and Control System has been one of the key features of the Smart City proposal of Bilaspur, through which several features of urban services have been enriched to a great extent.
