Raipur: In a program organised by the Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister, Bhupesh Baghel recognised 13 people from the third community. These 13 people had taken the benefits from the policy and programs made for third community and have benefited from the same. With this, Chhattisgarh has become the first Indian state to make a policy for the third community.
“Chhattisgarh’s government is working to bring respect and exercise constitutional rights of people from all religions, communities, and genders”, said the chief minister. He further added that promotion of community peace and harmony is the prime goal of the state government.
Bhupesh Baghel also claimed that the state government has allotted a dedicated budget of Rs 76 lakhs for the welfare of third community this year.
