Raipur: Another district of Chhattisgarh announces lockdown. The Bilaspur administration has imposed a complete lockdown from April 7 to 16. Additional SP along with superintendent of police Prashant Agarwal announced the guidelines for the lockdown revealing strict penalties against violation of precautionary norms.
Nearly, 200 people have been penalized during a survey across the district. Consumers as well as traders have been charged against violation of social distancing norms.
In the meantime, appeals were made to the public, and visual reminders in the form of posters have been planted across the district. The lockdown order issued by the district administration has set a deadline for the opening of the trading establishments. The liquor shops have also been permitted till 7 pm only and the final display deadline at cinema halls – multiplexes has been fixed till 9 pm.
