Raipur: Former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Ajit Jogi has been admitted to Narayana Hospital in a critical condition after suffering a cardiac attack at home.
According to the medical bulletin, the 74-year-old leader is on ventilator support as his breathing is still irregular. Doctors say his condition is “serious”. The hospital added that Jogi was having a regular day from morning, but apparently choked on a tamarind seed before the cardiac arrest.
CM bhupesh baghel inquired about the same from Amit jogi, Ajit jogi’s son over a phone call and has wished for his speedy recovery.
According to the sources, Ajit jogi is under keen observation but he is responding to the medication well. Right now, He is kept on ventilator, as the condition stabilize they will soon shift him to private room.
Meanwhile, Ajit Jogi’s son Amit Jogi has addressed the media to inform regarding former’s condition. He said “He was stable in the morning and also had breakfast. His condition is critical at the moment but his heart has started functioning again. They will keep him under observation for 48 hours.”
