Raipur: In an announcement made in the Sakti district of Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel expressed his support for the farmers in that region. He mentioned that if the Congress party gets re-elected in the elections they will again provide relief to farmers who are burdened with debt similar to what they did during their previous term.

Speaking to the media Baghel emphasised how committed the Congress party has always been towards empowering farmers. He pointed out that prominent party leaders such as Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi have consistently advocated for the welfare of farmers. This reaffirms the party’s dedication to addressing agricultural community concerns.

During their term, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi made promises aimed at benefiting underprivileged individuals. These promises included initiatives like providing housing for those in need and implementing a support price of 20 quintals per acre for paddy cultivation.

Furthermore, Baghel confirmed that the Congress party is currently working on announcing its renewed commitment to farmers of the elections. The promise to offer debt relief shows that the party continues its focus on improving lives in Chhattisgarh.

He also highlighted that Chhattisgarh’s culture and heritage are gaining recognition making it a topic of discussion worldwide due to its progress.
