Under the Charan Paduka distribution campaign, an initiative of District Collector Kunal Dudawat and Superintendent of Police Y Akshay Kumar, shoes are distributed to boys and girls studying in schools in remote Naxal affected areas of Vananchal region. Under this program, a community policing program was organized in Naxal-affected village Pungarpal of Puganarpal police station area of the district on Thursday. Collector and Superintendent of Police were present in the program.
In the program, charan padukas and shoes were distributed to the boys and girls studying in Naxal affected area village Pungarpal and nearby villages Tekapal, Kudur, Tumdiwal, Matwal, Mundipadar, Baniyapara. Patels of these villages, village sarpanch, parents of boys and girls, school teachers and villagers were present in the program.
During the program, the Collector and Superintendent of Police met the local people and listened to the problems of the area and assured to solve them. During this, he did a surprise inspection of the Anganwadi center and primary school of village Pungarpal and had midday meal with the school children. The children and villagers were happy to find the district officials among them. The villagers became very emotional with this unique initiative of the Superintendent of Police and thanked him for coming to the area.
District CEO Prem Prakash Sharma, Additional Superintendent of Police Rupesh Kumar Dande (Ops), Deputy Superintendent of Police Naxal Ops Satish Bhargava, SDM, Tehsildar, station in-charge, police officers-employees, teachers, school students and villagers were present in the program.
