Raipur: The political temper has increased over Balodabazar’s violent political parties, who blame each other. In this process, Bhim Army Chief and Nagina MP Chandrashekhar Azad reached Raipur today. Regarding the Balodabazar violence, he concurred that the Satnami community has been reduced to a victim. He condemned the government for deeming it improper to bring the Satnami community into the wrong books. He also addressed Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal’s comments.
Recall the event when Chandrashekhar Azad interacted with journalists during the visit to Raipur Airport. He again explained that Dav’s Satnami cast has suffered from it and has been targeted in particular. He said that the majority of the individuals in the community are in jail, and he plans to pay them a visit. He said that for a long time, the Satnami community’s emotions have been suppressed and hurt. Although he does not support violence, he underscored the need to carry out the investigation and apprehend the offenders. He blamed the government for the malignment of the Satnami community and stated that such an act was shameful.
Finally, when interacting with Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, who criticized politicians for making statements for publicity, Chandrashekhar Azad told the government to stop committing atrocities. He said that the government should not resort to vendetta; he said that those who follow Ghasi Das are present in various regions of the country. He accused the government of not respecting faith and not protecting people and called for justice.
Chandrashekhar Azad will meet the Governor at 11:30 AM. After this, he will proceed to the Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district, where he will hold a public meeting at Bhatgaon. He intends to go around and see those arrested in relation to disturbances in Balodabazar after the meeting. He may also hold a press conference to make additional information about the incident public.
With such incidents indicating the political vulnerability of the Congress ministry, particularly from Chandrashekhar Azad’s visit, the Balodabazar violence and the manner of their suppression remained crucially political in their nature.
