The two-day National Youth Parliament 2024 on environmental activities, organized by the Vidharbha Student Council in Nagpur, concluded with Nikita Dubey being honored by Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari for successfully presiding over the seminar as the Assembly President. The event, held in the Nagpur Assembly, attracted participation from 164 students across universities in the country. Nikita Dubey, a final semester student pursuing B.A.LL.B. at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya Bilaspur, was entrusted with the responsibility of chairing the seminar as the Assembly President.
On the second day of the closing ceremony, Central Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari participated as the chief guest. Nikita Dubey was recognized as the Best Speaker for successfully presiding over the Assembly as the Assembly President during the seminar, receiving accolades from Gadkari. The main guest for the ceremony was Vasudev Devnani, the Speaker of the Rajasthan Assembly. With his presence, Nikita Dubey efficiently managed the proceedings of the Parliament.
The seminar aimed to address environmental issues and engage students in meaningful discussions on the subject. Nikita Dubey, originally from Balodabazar, is currently a law student with a strong educational background in the region.
