Chhattisgarh: Aishwarya Singh of Chhattisgarh will be seen playing in the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) Senior Women’s Challenger Trophy.

Aishwarya (16) ,a resident of Bilaspur will function as an all-rounder in this tournament under the captaincy of Shikha Pandey in India -C. The little player has proved her mettle playing for Chhattisgarh Under-19.  Her records featured 3 half-centuries while playing for Chhattisgarh Under 19 state team. 

Aishwarya stands to be the first female player of the state this year who has been selected in this tournament. Inheriting her gains from her father, Aishwarya  at 12 years joined Chhattisgarh State Cricket Association and the Cricket Association of Bilaspur for her professional training.

The All-India Women’s Selection Committee has picked India A, India B, India C and India D squads that will take part in the Senior Women’s Cricket Challenger Trophy One Day Match 2021-22. The quadrangular tournament will be played at Dr. Gokaraju Laila Ganga Raju ACA Cricket Complex-DVR Ground, Vijayawada from 4th December to 9th December. 

 India-A vs India-B, would face off at first following which  India-C vs India-D, would be scheduled. The third and the fourth match would be between India-A vs India-C and India-B vs India-D.

Thus the fifth match will be played between India-A vs India-D and the sixth match will be played between India-B vs India-C.
