Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secretary Education (CGBSE) on Monday declared open the filling process for Class 10 and 12 Board Exams for Assessment 2022.
VK Goyal, Secretary Professor of CGBSE informed that the form filling is to be done online only. The candidates have been informed to submit their applications prior to the last date of applications that falls on September 15th. On failure to submit the application in the stipulated time, candidates would be charged an additional late fee.
As per the norms, the student needs to fill in their parent’s names and additional details required. Mr Goyal has instructed all candidates to avoid mistakes and get their forms approved by the Principal of the school prior to submission.
The Education Department has announced to release the assignment for September this month. As only a few schools have resumed physical schooling, the board has resorted to issuing assignments for class 10 and 12 students in the last week of August. Like the previous year, the board has decided to conduct exams with only 30% of the syllabus.
Due to the pandemic, the board had asserted alternative assessment criteria for the academic year 2021. The Class 10 students were awarded marks based on their internal assessments while Class 12 candidates were given an option of attempting exams from home. A total of 92.7 per cent and 97.43 per cent were recorded respectively for both the classes.
