Raipur: The state has seen a shift in weather patterns, with the recent rain showers coming to an end. While some areas experienced partly cloudy skies on Wednesday, the coming days will usher in clear weather. This, however, will be accompanied by a significant rise in temperatures.
The capital city, Raipur, witnessed a jump in day temperature. Tuesday recorded a high of 40 degrees Celsius, but Wednesday saw the mercury climb even higher, reaching 41 degrees Celsius. This trend is expected to continue, with dry weather likely to persist into Friday.
The break in the rain provides a temporary respite, but residents should brace themselves for hotter days ahead. As skies clear completely, the sun’s rays will have a more direct impact, leading to a rapid increase in temperatures.
While the lack of rain might be welcome news for some, it’s important to stay hydrated and take precautions against the rising heat. This includes wearing loose, light-colored clothing, staying out of the midday sun, and consuming plenty of fluids.
The coming days will see a transition from cloudy and potentially rainy conditions to a clear and scorching summer.
