Raipur: Election activity has intensified in Chhattisgarh as Farmer leader Yogesh Tiwari, who recently joined BJP, bought the nomination form today showing rebellion over not getting the ticket. He said that we will deprive those who have deprived us.

Yogesh Tiwari recently joined BJP wherein he had demanded a ticket from Bemetra assembly seat but the party did not give it to him. Due to this, Yogesh Tiwari along with hundreds of supporters raised the voice of protest and bought the nomination form. Accusing the senior BJP leader, he said that the senior leaders here do not want BJP to win from here, hence we are not being given importance in meetings and party programs. He has taken nomination as a BJP candidate, but from his stance it seems that he can create problems for BJP in the coming times.

Contrarily, Congress is working hard on promoting farmer benefits. Recently, Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel announced farmer’s loan waiver scheme.

Ahead of the Assembly elections scheduled next month, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has promised a loan waiver to farmers in the event of the Congress returning to power. This is the fourth guarantee that the Congress has made in the run-up to the polls, after promising to conduct a caste census, buy 20 quintals/acre of paddy, and provide housing to 17.5 lakh families in the state.
