Chhattisgarh: After PM Modi announced free vaccines for all from the 21st of June, the Chhattisgarh administration had shut down its pilot vaccine portal CG Teeka.
However, the application has been re-activated by the government to provide the vaccine certificates for those who registered on the state-owned application until 20 June.
State Corona Immunization Officer Dr Amar Singh Thakur informed that the health department had re-activated the CG Teeka portal for issuing vaccination certificates to those from group 18 to 44 years who registered prior to the 21st of June. The certificate issued on the website would also facilitate individuals to attain the second dose of the vaccine.
The CG Teeka Portal was launched by the Chhattisgarh government on 14 May 2021. The portal was aimed to extend vaccine registration facilities to the underprivileged sectors of the state. Help desks were set up at the panchayat level, urban bodies and municipal levels to aid individuals to register for the vaccine.
