BASTAR: As many as eight major supply networks of Maoists in the last two years have been foiled, officials state in a report. As per the report, 38 Maoists have been arrested so far through the operations launched by security forces in the district.

The crackdown has hampered chief supplies of medical emergency essentials and explosives. The official added that 20 camps of security forces were set up in Maoist dominated areas that helped identify chief maoist operations areas and bring them down.

Inspector General of Police (Bastar Range) Sundarraj P in a media interaction highlighted that the security operations have mostly disrupted the supply to the Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee (DKSZC) of the CPI (Maoist).DKSZC, which is commanding the Maoist activities in Bastar region.
