Gadchiroli: Chhattisgarh Police arrested 2 hardcore prize Naxalites in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra, bordering the Manpur-Mohla-Ambagarh Chowki district of Chhattisgarh. The Gadchiroli police force had gone out on an anti-Naxal operation towards Sanwargaon police station, 2 km from Kohka police station when they saw the suspects.

The two accused started running away seeing the police personnel and were then caught under siege. Later on interrogation, both suspects turned out to be hardcore Naxalites. Both were immediately arrested for a total reward of Rs 10 lakhs.

According to the information received from the police, Saniram alias Shankar, one of the arrested works as PPCM in company number 10 of Naxalites of Maharashtra. On the other hand, Samuram alias Surya Narote is a member of the Naxal mass militia, on which a reward of Rs 2 lakhs had been announced. Both of them belonged to Morchul Village in Maharashtra.
