KURLA: In a shocking incident, C’grah resident was found hanging by a bridge outside the Kurla railway station in Mumbai on Tuesday morning. The deceased identified as Laxmi Chaitram Yadav had arrived in Mumbai on Sunday.

In a suicide note found near the 25 year old revealed that flying in an aeroplane was his last wish and so he landed in Mumbai.

His family informed the police that this was the first time he was visiting Mumbai. He had been missing from home, but the family had not lodged a missing complaint.

The reason for this move is yet to be ascertained. Chunabhatti police station registering an accidental death report is investigating the case.

DCP Hemraj Rajput confirmed that the man was found hanging by a bridge in the yard of the railway station. “We found that he had written on his hands that he was about to die by suicide. The note on his hand also spoke of his last wish – to see an aeroplane, for which he presumably came to Mumbai,” he said. Initial conversation with the deceaseds family indicated the former was dealing with mental health issues.
