On the second day of the monsoon session of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, the supplementary budget will be discussed today. The issue of purchasing T-shirts and caps without tender will be raised in the attention motion.
Finance Minister OP Choudhary presented a budget of Rs 7,329 crore on the first day of the monsoon session. After that, the supplementary budget will be discussed today. Various petitions will be presented in the House.
Apart from this, BJP MLA Rajesh Moonat will raise the issue of purchasing T-shirts and caps without tender through a call for attention motion. Apart from this, Congresswomen MLAs Anila Bhendia, Sangeeta Sinha, Savitri Mandavi will also raise the issue of negligence in the distribution of ready-to-eat food in Anganwadi centres through a call for attention motion.
Earlier in December 2023, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai presented the first supplementary budget proposal of his government on the second day of the assembly session on Wednesday. The Rs 12,992.70 crore supplementary budget includes provisions for a two-year pending bonus for farmers, the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme, and the Mahatari Vandana Scheme.
