Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh: In Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh, a jawan has committed suicide by shooting himself with a service rifle. It is being told that the jawan was posted in the Kohkameta police station. The name of the jawan is being said as Head Constable Arun Uikey.

The reason for the suicide is unknown. No suicide note has been found on the site. The deceased jawan belongs to the district police force. The incident happened around 11 am. The deceased jawan is said to be a resident of Sihawa in the Dhamtari district. The body has been brought to Narayanpur District Hospital for post-mortem.

A similar incident happened in the Narayanpur ITBP headquarters back in September, where a jawan was found hanging in the office of the headquarters. The SI of ITBP hanged himself in Narayanpur. In this case also, the police had sent the dead body of the deceased jawan to the district hospital for postmortem. 

The Narayanpur Superintendent of Police Sadanand Kumar confirmed the incident. The deceased was posted as SI in the 45 Battalion of ITBP. His posting was in the headquarters office during the time of his death. The name of the deceased jawan is Sachin Dhol, who was a resident of Delhi. Further investigations in both cases are being carried out by the Chhattisgarh police to find out about the reasons for the suicides.
