Raipur: Voting is going on in 20 seats of the first phase of Chhattisgarh Assembly elections 2023. Since morning, voters have been standing in long queues outside the polling booth to cast their votes.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has urged voters to reach out the polling statins to cast their votes.
Regarding the elections, the Election Commission has released the voting figures till 11 o’clock. In which 22.97 percent voting took place in all 20 seats.

Meanwhile, there is silence in a polling booth in Pandariya assembly constituency. Not a single voter has reached the polling station here to cast his vote.
Interestingly, there are 60.2 lakh first-time voters in these states. There
are 17.34 lakh PWD voters, 24.7 lakh senior voters, and 32.410 centenarian
voters who shall be allowed to vote from the comfort of their home. “From roll
to poll” is the effort the Commission is undertaking, adds Sh. Rajiv Kumar. It is crucial that every voter votes and therefore, ECI has launched a song to motivate voters to use their vote.
